Steph vs. Lillard: A Fierce All-Star Battle

The battle between Curry and Damian Lillard was intense, as both players scored 38 points each. In addition to his scoring, Curry contributed six rebounds and four assists, shooting 12-24 from the field and 6-16 from beyond the arc. His performance was supported by Jimmy Butler, who, in just his second game for the Warriors, tallied 20 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Butler’s presence was felt on both ends of the floor, and he also set a new franchise record for free throws attempted, with 28 in his first two games.

This win also marked a milestone for Curry, who became the first player in Warriors history to play 1,000 regular-season games. Furthermore, Curry extended his impressive shooting streak, hitting 6 or more 3-pointers in four consecutive games, tying the NBA record for the most such streaks in a career.
